Sierra Leone Mission Trip
June 14th - July 7th, 2011

"God is truely Amazing!"- Jenna Wethington, Team Member

Our team of 7took off for West Africa on June 14th, aiming to install at least 15 BioSand Hydraid Water filters throughout the Southern and Western regions of Sierra Leone. The team was headed up by Sierra Leonian Pastors Thomas Beckley and Justin Marva in-country, We had initially planned our trip for 30 days in country, however, as we approached our 3rd week,we took an inventory of all the work we had completed. To our amazement we had already installed 29 filters, as well as trained more people in maintaining each filter, and trained several young pastors to install filters after we left, giving them the opportunity to extend their ministries into more remote regions.
After spending time in prayer, we decided that with our overwhelmingly successful 23 days in Sierra, we would return home a week earlier than planned.
