Sierra Leone And Their Need For Clean Water
The water wells displayed in this
video are expensive and can
be difficult to drill due to the
rough terrain (bedrock and silt).

CWP has decided to begin making
an impact through our
Clean Water Projects by using
a cheaper and  simpler means of clean water resource,
HydrAid BioSand
    Water Filter.

More than 2.2 million people die each year from preventable water bourne diseases.

In August of 2010 we installed 3 Water filters and established
the functioning of a  rainwater collection cistern at an
orphanage in Tegucigalpa, Honduras

Current Projects

CWP purchased 60 HydrAid BioSand Water Filters in December 2010. In the beinning of the 2011 year the U.S. Navy delivered them
to the port of Freetown where they were then transported to an orphanage in the village of Bo, to await our teams arrival.

Our team of 7 spent 23 days in the beautiful country of Sierra Leone doing a variety of projects from installing 29 filters, training two groups of Sierra Leoneons with each filter for maintenance, VBS programs with children in each village, a sanitation project in the village of Mattru, and research for future building, medical and agricultural projects.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spiritual Growth Project:

Promoting a personal and real relationship with Jesus Christ in the lives of individuals wherever we do work, and encouraging
National Pastors whenever possible.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Development Project:

We hope to begin a process referred to as Micro-Loaning.
Each Micro-Loan will help small businesses develop and recieve a chance at providing an income for individual people and families.

All loans would be interest free, but are paid back.
The money returned is then loaned out to another
small buisness recipient and the process continues
on, blessing many struggling buisnesses.

General & Business Fund

As mentioned before, CWP is a non-profit organization.
All of the workers and members are volunteers.
However, as with any buisness, there are always costs for
websites, phone bills, office supplies, registration fees,
shipping and transfer fees... etc.

Funds in this project may also be used as necessary to supplement specific Projects in need of finances, ie Hunger, Clean Water, etc.
